WELCOME TO THE CIVIC THEATRE

Welcome to our Spring/Summer 2012 season!

In 2012 the much-loved Civic Theatre celebrates its 90th and final year. In early 2013 the Civic will close its doors for the last time.

2012 is also a time of enormous excitement for the future as building work continues on Doncaster’s stunning new arts and entertainment venue. In less than 18 months time it will be ready to open its doors to the public. Located next to Doncaster Council’s new civic offices and facing out onto a landscaped public square, the venue will be the next part in the transformation of the Waterdale area of Doncaster.

Throughout 2012 the Doncaster Civic Theatre and Doncaster HotHouse will be working together to bring you - our fabulous audience - our biggest ever programme of professional and community productions. Including everything from laugh-outloud comedy, spoken word, musical theatre, heart wrenching drama, amazing amateur productions, exquisite classical music, breathtaking circus and dance, funky folk and jazz, opulent opera to dance school extravaganzas - our first joint programme features something for everyone.

We’ll continue to offer all our tickets at the lowest possible price, whilst offering more £6 tickets for younger audiences.*

So remember - don’t delay, book today.

We look forward to seeing you soon.
